The Business Problem

There are two large parts of trainings chunks involved in the Hospitality ITC hotels group, namely Front of the House and Back of the house. ITC was launching new hotel in Bangalore and Chennai and they wanted to train the front of the house and back of the house staff in a variety of knowledge areas. Strong instruction design skills were required.The project was divided into several domains ( Hotel Processes, Accounts and Finance, Point of Sale Applications).

Solution / Intervention

About 550 eLearning objects were created including Simulations, Videos and Assessments. Integration of these objects into the client’s LMS (SABA). SCORM issues during SABA integration were resolved and made available across various roles on the SABA platform. They can be accessed from anywhere and at any time. We also provided the facility to access these modules even with a limited connectivity on phone for Hospitality.

Outcome

All the trainings were made trackable which helped the managers to keep a check on their employees’ progress.  Modification can be done as per the employees’ role and duties and proper feedback was provided to them by their supervisor. These modules were interactive and motivated the employees to complete their trainings.
