YOU HAVE QUESTIONS…
WE HAVE ANSWERS!

I have a Mac, can I still attend the training?

As long as you have Windows on your Mac, you’ll be able to use software such as Storyline 360, Studio 360, and Replay 360. Check out this Articulate article for more information: Articulate 360 FAQs: Working on a Mac.

Where do I download the workshop files?

After registration, your instructor will provide a link to download the workshop files via email. In addition, your instructor will also have USB drives available with the workshop files on the first day of training. If you’re registered in the Virtual Open Enrollment sessions, the workshop files are provided in the first scheduled session.

What time does the classroom training begin and end?

Our Open Enrollment classes are scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM, with a one-hour break for lunch. Morning and afternoon breaks are also provided. Onsite classes can be adjusted to begin and end at a time that works best for the organization. We understand that some of our Purchasers need to leave early because of travel arrangements, so just be sure to let your instructor know on that day.

What else do I need to bring to the classroom?

The most common forgotten items are a power supply for your laptop, a mouse, and a writing utensil.

Is there a workbook or participant’s guide provided?

Yes. Your instructor will have a workbook ready and waiting for you in your first session!

Do I need to attend the Basic training as a prerequisite for the Advanced and/or Articulate 360 trainings?

While Storyline 360 Basic is not a prerequisite for the Advanced class, we strongly recommend that training participants have mastered all of the skills covered in the Basic class before moving to the Advanced training. To review the skills covered in the training, please download and review our course syllabus here: Articulate Storyline 360 Training Syllabus.

Could a class be cancelled?

While it does happen from time to time, it’s not a frequent occurrence. Classes with low attendance may be cancelled up to 30 days in advance. We’ll notify you of any cancellations and provide alternate training options or a refund of the registration fee.

When should I book my travel for the upcoming class?

Once you receive an email registration confirmation from us at Yukon Learning, feel free to book travel. However, keep in mind that classes with low attendance may be cancelled up to 30 days in advance. If this occurs, we’ll notify you as soon as possible with alternatives and next steps.

Can you recommend hotels near the training facility?

Your registration confirmation email contains a link to the training location/venue, which typically also offers a listing of hotels nearby.

Is this a certification course?

While we are Articulate’s Certified Training Partner, this course does not “certify” you as a user of their tools. In other words, we don’t implement any metrics to measure your competency with the tool upon completion of the training.

I cannot download the workshop files. What do I do?

We hear this from time to time. In most cases, it’s a browser issue. Try to open the link in a different browser, as it could be blocked by your Internet settings. If you are still unable to access the files before class, no worries! Your instructor will also bring the files to class on USB drives for those who were not able to download them prior to class.

What programs do I need on my computer?

You’ll need Storyline 360 installed locally for the Basic and Advanced Storyline classes. We’ve created exercises that are compatible with Storyline 3, but for the newer features and the Rise 360+ training day, you’ll need a subscription or a trial version of the Articulate 360 suite. For the Rise 360+ class, you’ll also need access to the Internet, and the latest version of either the Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browsers installed.
