Description

Instructional designer work with others to develop courses that can be studied on a computer network. This can be an internal network, or an external one offering courses to people in different places. We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. You would be responsible for identifying the skills, knowledge, information and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and creating or selecting learning experiences that close this gap, based on instructional theory and best practices from the field.

Required

  • Instructional Designer Ability to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Skills to visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Excellent verbal & written command over English (Grammar and vocabulary)
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Prior experience of designing eLearning for different audiences
  • Basic Project Management skills with ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and deliver quality results in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects working independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Formal skilled certifications and training greatly valued (i.e. Edit certification and ID certification etc.)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
